Kolie Dee grew up being told she was a “worthless”, “good-for-nothing kid” who would “never amount to anything” by her Dad. Her Mom was a Mental Health specialist. The result? “I basically grew up to be someone who roots for the underdog, and you’ll find it in my songs,” she says. 

Seeing the historical fallout of war, Kolie Dee felt compelled to write this song. It tells the story of a child of war who, like Kolie, became homeless and orphaned, ultimately determined to create change. The narrative is beautifully captured both musically and lyrically, bringing powerful visuals to life. 

Kolie Dee teamed up with multi-platinum songwriter/producer Martin Sutton to deliver an incredibly powerful message. The song, featured in her music EPK, will have you rocking out and is irresistibly catchy.
